These difficulties may stem from neurological, emotional, social or developmental issues; everyone is different. So I rigorously assess and support each child, taking in to account both their strengths and their challenges, to ensure positive outcomes for all.
I can provide expert assessments in areas such as learning, attainment, cognitive skills, behaviour, self esteem, motivation and emotional wellbeing. These usually occur in school, but can take place wherever the individual is most comfortable.
After assessment, drawing on a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic options, I will suggest appropriate interventions, such as learning strategies or solution-focused work with teachers, families/carers or other professionals.
I will then compile a thorough, personal and practical report detailing both the results and my recommendations. And support you through implementation too, if that is what is required.
So please get in touch. Make an appointment for a 30 minute introductory session with me. The session is FREE. We can discuss your concerns and see how I can help.
I can provide a wide range of educational psychology services, on a short term, flexible basis or as ongoing regular support, depending on what is needed. I also offer training for parents, teachers and other professionals.
